Gossiping Hurts!!

This week gossiping has been all around me. So I thought I'd share with you guys how much gossiping hurts. As you probably know ,once you say something you can't take it back. Even if its a small thing it hurts. It starts going around and around and around. Even if you just tell one person as a secret there is a big chance that they will blab. Once the word starts going around it gets twisted up and then the person or people finally hear it. I think that gossiping is absolutely wrong once I hear a rumor I just want no part of it. Once the word starts going around don't blame it on the first person you told because you shouldn't have started the rumor in the first place.
Tip: Never tell anyone a secret about anyone else, so if the person blabs it won't be as bad as people hating you for spreading somebodies business ar0und.
Let’s say you have a piece of wood, a nail, and a hammer. Pretend the wood is a person, and the nail is the horrible rumor about that person. If you hammer in the nail, you’re hurting him or her. If you then pull out the nail…well, there’s still a hole in the wood, and the damage has been done.
If you are victim of gossip you should find out who the people that are gossiping about you are and be direct with them. Only tell your business to your close friends that you can trust or nobody at all. If the gossip continues speak to a guidance counselor about it and they will have talk with the person or the people that are hurting you.
Everywhere you go there is going to be gossip. Children, teens, and even adults gossip. It's just important to keep rumors you hear to yourself and not spread it even more and don't start rumors because you will never be able to fix them. The cycle is just to long.

Summer Vacation is Coming to an End!!

In about 22 more days public schools in NYC will start. I am one of many teens that feel that they are not ready for school to start, and summer went by way to fast! Just thinking about going back to school makes my mind race with thoughts. Is my teacher going to be too strict, too nice? How am I going to get all my school supplies? Speaking of school shopping for my birthday, my mother took me on a shopping spree in the city to buy school clothes and accessories. I found a lot of cute buys. Believe it or not plaid is back in. So most stores were stocked up with plaid clothing.

I found a really cute plaid sweatshirt similar to the one above at Forever 21.
Forever 21 is just starting to work its way in my fashion life. I feel like the style of the clothes they have are appropriate for my age group. Their styles are for ages 12-40. In my opinion I don't think that at is too grown up for teens at all. How many of your parents shop at Forever 21 for you and when did they start? Do your parents shop there? Big sisters? Do you feel like you should shop there? Well, approach your parents and tell them that you feel like their clothing is appropriate and that you respect their authority but you think you need a change of style.

Going back to school is exciting and all but seeing your friends is the best part. What fun is school with out any friends?I mean teens need a social life too. Don't get me wrong going back to school is also about learning new things. Many teens aren't excited about the academic work that is coming up in the next grade. But when you get older you will regret not putting much effort into your work. Your work is never perfect there is always something you can do to make it better and that applies to most things in life.

For school supplies I recommend shopping at Walmart(their prices are so cheap its like they have a sale there every day.), Target(they have really cheap and cute supplies for girls) and I hear that Big Lots has good quality supplies and they are cheap.

September will be here faster than a blink of an eye so get ready.
